Heal the World: recycle today Melting glaciers create great upheavals Europe takes the lead with ambitious climate targets |
We have no interest in doom-and-gloom reporting and instead believe that positive change starts with a hopeful outlook that real change is possible Our goal is to motivate deeper awareness among consumers-not only that the issue of climate change and environment degradation demands their attention, but also that they have the power to support companies, government and NGO's that take green economy initiative seriously - and avoid those that don't. When consumers take action and raise their voices on issues that matter to them, businesses pay attention. A loud and clear consumer movement that demands more aggressive corporate action on climate change will not fall on deaf ears.
In our aggressive action to fight climate Change and global warming. Afro Green Zone International has launched the Green Economy computer hardware recycling campaign in the city of Port Harcourt Rivers State and Owerri Imo State of Nigeria. the first of its kind in the west African region, in its fight for a cleaner environment. We are now collecting Old and obsolete computer hardware's for recycling. Help keep our environment clean by proper disposal of your computer hardware through any of AGZI collection centers. We collect Old computer monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, cables and other computer accessories. This electronic wastes has been a serious ecological issue because of their non decomposing materials which poses serious health hazard in our environment. The increase of these electronic wastes is because Nigeria and African nations in general have been the dumping ground of unserviceable electronic products manufactured all over Europe, America and Asia. As a result of this, AGZI has launched a nation wide educational and recycling campaign on ways to save our community, nation and the world at large from electronic waste. we tends to work with consumers, importers, and manufacturing companies on the issue of embracing green technologies which is more efficient and ecological friendly in our society.
